Become A Member
Interested in becoming a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Texas City? We’re grateful for your interest in church membership at FCC! We are always eager to have people unite formally with us as church members.
All are warmly encouraged to participate in the worship, education, fellowship, outreach, and stewardship of our church. Wherever you may be in your faith journey, we hope and trust you will know you “belong” to Christ and are an important part of our community of faith, worship, and service.
For FCC, church membership is a covenant (a commitment made to God and others). One becomes an active member of the church through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and acceptance of his Lordship in all of life. Baptism and a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord are the visible signs of entrance into the active membership of the church. When you are a regular participant in the life of our church and are ready to place your gifts in God’s service here, formal church membership is a step you will want to prayerfully consider.
